		<description>I think if you are writing about NGOs as a journalist, it will be incredibly difficult. If you were writing on other topics-- not so much of a problem.  Your arguments are valid, but I think the main problem will be that NGOs that receive &quot;critical&quot; press will be reluctant to bring that person into their organization for any work- and word gets around quickly in the aid world. If you were critical in an internal report to the organization-- that&#039;s great-- but when the public (aka the donors) find out via the press of the criticism, that&#039;s a whole other thing. They begin to rethink their donations, and that jeopardizes the NGO&#039;s funding. They don&#039;t mess with that. </description>
